I’ve been seeing chiropractors, physical therapists, and massage therapists for over 40 years, so I have a pretty good sense of what separates a good practitioner from a great one. I recently relocated, and it took me some time to find a new practitioner who really fit what I needed. At 62, I know my body very well and I’m still very active as an athlete, so finding someone who truly understands that has been especially important. After my very first visit, I can confidently say Dr. Alex Anders is one of the best I’ve experienced. From the moment I arrived, everything was top-notch. The facilities are professional and welcoming, I was seen right on time, and he took the time to listen to what was going on instead of rushing through the appointment. I immediately felt comfortable and knew I was in good hands. What impressed me most was that he didn’t just jump straight into an adjustment. He spent a significant amount of time working on my tight muscles and soft tissue. As he worked on my neck, he immediately identified that the entire right side was significantly tighter than the left—which was exactly what I had been feeling. It was obvious he wasn’t following a routine; he was assessing what my body actually needed. He also spent a lot of time releasing my hips before making any adjustments. He clearly understands how an athlete’s body works and treats the underlying issues rather than just the symptoms. The results spoke for themselves. I went to CrossFit later that day and had the best mobility I’ve had in months. My body moved better, I felt looser, and everything just worked the way it was supposed to. If you’re looking for someone who truly listens, understands biomechanics, and takes the time to personalize your treatment, I highly recommend Dr. Anders. I’ll absolutely be back, and I’m grateful to have found someone I trust with my care.
Highly recommend Alex at Performance House! I came to him for my shoulder and it really helped. He even held a kid friendly physical education day and the kids loved it! Will definitely be back!
My son and I had a great experience! Dr. Anders was accommodating with our busy schedule, which I truly appreciate as a sports mom. He took the time to ask detailed questions about my 14-year-old two-sport athlete’s problem areas, and we never felt rushed. I was also treated for a hip and back issue and felt relief afterward. The process felt intentional and comfortable for both my son and I. We left feeling better and well taken care of. Highly recommend!
Accomplished a lot during consultation visit. Great neck and shoulders massage. Low key neck adjustment. Established goals for next couple of visits which will include an exercise program designed specifically to improve performance in my problem areas. Great first visit.
I have been working out at Performance House gym since late January 2023, for one year and 8 months! I love working out there with the trainers Josh and Nicole very much, and I work out with them there 3 to 4 times a week, every week consistently! Going to workout at Performance House is a very postive social workout outlet for me, and it helps my mental health, my physical health, and my strength and growing stronger every day!
