Dr. Backhaus has been a very important part of my health journey recently. I’ve had really bad pain in my legs over the last year that I had tried so many things for. I had never done acupuncture but Dr. Backhaus created a great environment to discuss not only the best route within the time I was in his office but additional tips to incorporate into my life over the last month or so. Dr. Backhaus got me relief when nobody else could. I’ve suffered with intense leg pain for a year. I’ve been to PT, Orthopedic specialists, had multiple steroid injections and nothing helped. I have been a patient of Dr. Backhaus now for a couple of months since my recent move to Chicago. I was drawn to this specific Chiropractic office due to their public support of the LGBTQIA+ community! As a queer man, I've felt so supported during a challenging move and transition to this city. I've had 2 adjustments by Dr. Backhaus and 2 acupuncture treatments, his approach to the body is precise and yet gentle. I felt amazing after the treatments and continued to throughout the month. What was refreshing was the amount of time he took with me. I never felt rushed and I definitely felt he listened to me and what I wanted to accomplish from the appointment. Thanks so much!
