Lakeside Spine & Wellness

I can’t express how great Lakeside Spine & Wellness has been for my physical therapy needs. The administrative staff at the front desk are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They understand the importance of developing positive relationships with their patients. The physical therapist I was working with is no longer with Lakeside Spine, but was he was fantastic. I noticed improvement in my shoulder over the months, but we just weren’t able to get my shoulder back to 100%. He recommended I see Dr Chang for acupuncture. I was willing to try it, and I’m now a believer. Since seeing Dr Chang , my pain levels have dropped to almost zero with increased range of motion. Between the physical therapy, acupuncture, and massage (JJ is great) I’ve received at Lakeside, I’m feeling good!

I asked whether they offered deep tissue massage, and they assured me they did. Unfortunately, my experience didn't match that expectation. During my first visit on 04/06/26, Stephanie's pressure was so light that it felt like lotion was simply being rubbed onto my skin, even after I asked several times for deeper pressure. For my next appointment on 05/20, they recommended Ken for a deep tissue massage. I specifically asked him to focus on my lower body, but he spent only a short time working on my upper body, moved to my glutes for about two minutes after I reminded him, and then spent much of the remaining session with his arm resting across my torso instead of actively providing treatment. He was pure lazy. I was very disappointed, especially after paying $129 for each session. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the front desk staff were friendly.

I’ve been going to Lakeside Spine and Wellness for over 2 years and it’s been a great experience. The entire staff is friendly, informative, and genuinely cares. I was having frequent headaches and neck pain, and through the care of Dr. McTague, I’m pain free and have valuable knowledge on how to support my body. I’ve also had multiple massages with Ken, who is wonderful and very skilled in his profession. It’s a great facility and I would recommend them to anyone I know!

Dr Mendez and the staff at Lakeside Spine have been fantastic. The program she developed for me has me thinking about my back issues in a whole new way. I appreciate her communication skills and her personal approach. Highly recommended.

I went in for a visit with Dr. Kiper with a nagging shoulder issue I've been dealing with for the last 10 years. Recently I went through several sessions of physical therapy, which only seemed to make the pain worse. After two visits with Dr. Kiper, my pain has decreased significantly and my range of motion is better than it has been in a long time thanks to a few very simple home exercises. He took the time to listen to my past and present experiences and really showed interest in making me feel better. The staff is awesome, scheduling is easy, and the overall environment is very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Lakeside Spine & Wellness!!!
