I have been patient of Dr. Mejia's since 2006. Unlike most chiropractors, there is no contract required. You come back as you see fit. Dr. Mejia is a seasoned professional who is easy to talk to, ask questions to, and he always listens to my problems. He is always gentle and repeatedly asks how I am feeling during the adjustments. He happily used alternative methods to adjust my neck until I was comfortable doing the seated neck adjustment. There was no pressure. He is the only one I would trust to adjust my tailbone. Dr. Mejia offers laser treatments which have made a big difference. I get them a few times a year. I have monthly appointments but Dr. Mejia and his wonderful front desk staff can almost always get me in early if I need it, many times the same day. Elena and Veronica always give a reminder call the day before an appointment. They know their jobs well and I have never had an issue with scheduling or an appointment getting lost. Dr. Mejia is a great chiropractor and I can't imagine trusting any other doctor to adjust me.

Dr. Mejia is undoubtedly unorthodox, but that in and of itself is hardly a problem. The real problem was his refusal to provide any real treatment whatsoever to my wife. His argument was that given her injury history, treating her would be imprudent (she has years of treatment history at other chiropractors and never had any side effects). Even that would be fine, if he didn't insist on payment for this appointment, the full amount too. In the course of discussing this, Mejia called me out of my name, was extremely condescending, and even began to shout (his secretary had to calm him down, definitely not the first time this has happened) "Dr." Mejia is a quack and a con man. Take your business elsewhere. ANYWHERE else.

I came here b/c of the reviews, but had my worst experience EVER! I have felt numbness in my arm b/c something is pushing on my Ulna nerve. I have had it worked on before and have never had any trauma to my neck. I spent an hour in this office, and after reading my intake the doctor comes in and says he will not treat me b/c I have "a massive disk issue in my neck and need surgery." He did not examine me. He diagnosed me w/o even meeting me or observing my structure. He did keep $30 of my exam fee b/c he did some "doctoring". What a rip off! I think giving me a diagnosis of MASSIVE DISK ISSUE without examining me is malpractice. Maybe his reading of my intake was incorrect, but he determined my condition from a room 100 feet away. What a waste of my time and money!!!

My family and I have been going to Mejia Chiropractic for many years. Nothing but great results and the office staff are always warm & welcoming. I owe a huge debt of gratitude for what Art did to one of my kids whom was diagnosed with scoliosis. We had previously gone to another Chiropractor at the Tuscany Plaza and had a bad experience with a practioner there. He basically told us that there was nothing that he could do for our child. We went to Mejia Chiropractic afterwards and Art immediately started therapy. Mr. Mejia's work speaks for it's self. I've included an X-Ray picture of the before & after results.

Doctor Art is the best and keeps me walking upright. Many times I have walked in hunched over and walked out upright. Fun atmosphere always a movie playing... things that I haven’t seen in YEARS. Doctor Art is always upfront and honest with patients and gives the best of care.
