Greetings I want the world to know that I chose Heuser Chiropractor AGAIN because Dr. Douglas Devries earned my trust since 2010. I went back on April 2026 after a car accident that left me pretty much confined in bed because I couldn’t stand longer than 30 minutes due to back and neck pain. Thank Jehovah God first and Dr. Deviries and his team care and treatments I’m almost at 100% back to normal. For I’m able to work again and be back on my feet. He has an exceptional team supporting him and they genuinely care for their patients like no where else. Thank you Mr. Devries and team. May God bless you all.

I am disabled and on Medicare, i couldn't afford my xrays but I bought in an mri. The doctor looked me over thoroughly and told me It was very important I have the xrays, I just simply didn't have the money. He was so kind that he did the xrays anyway and when I went to check out, I owed no money! I am beyond thankful for the kindness, compassion and the attention to detail. I look forward to coming back.

I was also offered 30 visits but chose the shorter series; 15, I believe. I see a number of good reviews here so I won’t comment as to the quality of the doctor. After 15 visits, I was still in the exact same pain as I was when treatments started. When I returned to Canada (I am a snowbird), I had new X-rays done and it confirmed my worst fear……an incorrect diagnosis by the clinic. Most bad reviews here seem to cite a large number of visits. Personally, I’d now suggest you obtain a second opinion if that is recommended. It’s NOT cheap to do the recommended visits. I won’t get into specifics of my neck issue vs what was diagnosed. In talking to a few people in the waiting room however, it did seem that a series of 30 visits was a common recommendation. Back in Canada, my neck feels better after TWO visits to a physical therapist. I’m not out of the woods yet but I can see progress. The staff at the Yuma clinic are very nice and friendly but remember, the cost of the many visits go toward paying their salary. They should be nice. I'm just suggesting that if the common cure for everyone involves 30 sessions, it seems gratuitous towards the clinic.
