Dr. Lam is not like any chiropractor, he's Better; he believes in healing the body in addition to adjusting it. He provides additional treatment such as electrical stimulation pads, spinal decompression, TECAR and Softwave Shockwave therapy to name a few. He's knowledgeable, professional, empathetic & strong enough to give me my adjustments; for reference I am 5'8" and weight nearly 250 pounds. Dr. Lam is personable & makes you feel comfortable. Give him a try, you have nothing to loose but neck tension.

I have been going to Body Detox a little over a year on and off. Although I have always had a great experience and have always recommended this place to family and friends. When going back from my break there was some changes made with the Dr's. I was a little hesitant when making my appointment, however I still went ahead and tried out an appointment with Dr. Yainyt Olvera Guerrero. She was so attentive, informative and paid attention to areas I didn't mention bothered me. She asked me if it was ok to tend to the areas she noticed may need some tending to, of course I agreed to please do so. Once she relieved my areas of complaint as well as the areas she noticed needed tending to I knew my next appointment will have to be with her again, for she provided me an amazing experience. I would also like to mention that the front desk is also amazing and very helpful when needing to reschedule or accommodating appointments to your availability. If you leave a voicemail, they will definitely call you back. When addressing their different locations the West Covina office is my go to because it is closer to me, however I have had to make an appointment at their new office in Rosemead, due to my availability. I had taken my daughter and myself, we were tended to by the owner. He was very attentive, informative, he gave us a mini tour of the new location and it was very nice! I usually don't do reviews, and I notice other people only do them to complain so I thought it would be nice to point out what an all around great experience I have had with this company. I most definitely recommend Body Detox at both locations.

I had a great experience with Dr. Lam today! I’ve been dealing with neck pain, and the adjustment and therapy helped tremendously. I left feeling so much better and incredibly relaxed after my session. Dr. Lam made the entire experience comfortable and positive. The office is also beautiful—very clean, modern, and chic. I’m really happy with my visit and would definitely recommend Dr. Lam!

I came into the office with severe, persistent lower back and neck pain. From the very first visit, the team made me feel completely safe and welcome. Dr. Belen took the time to truly listen to my concerns, explain the root causes of my pain, and walk me through a personalized plan. The adjustments were incredibly effective and gentle, my posture has noticeably improved, and I have my energy back. If you are looking for an expert who genuinely cares about your wellness, look no further!

Very disorganized and deeply offensive. Was not able to crack anything but my left shoulder. And didn’t attempt the right one. And she kept saying “ok good, great” after she attempted an adjustment with no crack. She just literally moved my body in a different position and said “great”. Zero relief. Then she said she would use a sound wave machine on me. Never got that. And. She proceeded to ask if I have kids. I say no. That really should have been the end of that. Then she asks was it MY CHOICE NOT TO HAVE KIDS?.I’m not sure why a chiropractor felt it necessary to ask such an invasive question. I could literally feel her judging me. And what if it weren’t my choice? Did she really want to have that conversation with me? I wasn’t aware I was going to be therapized by a chiropractor. I’ll never be back.
