I would recommend Dr. Kimberlain to anyone that has aches and pains. I was referred to him when I had back pain, and I won't let anyone else ever touch my back again. He has also helped with knee pain and hip pain. Anna and the office staff are friendly and always gets you an appointment as soon as possible.
I am so happy to recommend Kimberlain Chiropractic and here is why. I am a retired Chiropractor and Physical Therapist. I have been going to Dr. Kimberlain for chiropractic treatments off and on for many years starting before I retired eight years ago. He is by far one of the best Chiropractors I have ever seen. Last year I fell while ice skating and he helped me regain full range and strength in my right shoulder where I had a partial rotator cuff tear. This year I returned from Europe with nagging right sacroiliac pain which had partially improved with Osteopathic treatments and Thai massage. There were no Chiropractors available and it had been bothering me off and on for six months. In one treatment with Dr. Kimberlain, the pain was completely gone and has not returned! I have referred my husband, daughter and friends to Kimberlain Chiropractic and they have all been pleased as well. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Kimberlain!
Last year was a very difficult one for me physically. Early in the year, I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis in my lower back, which is a narrowing around the nerves in the spine. The condition caused severe nerve pain that shot down both of my legs—into my hips, thighs, knees, and calves. My primary doctor ordered MRIs and X-rays, and after reviewing the results I was referred to surgeons who recommended surgery and steroid injections. I was not comfortable going straight to surgery, so I asked my doctor if there were any non-surgical options. I was referred to physical therapy and spent two months there starting in August. Unfortunately, by the end of September I had made no improvement at all. In fact, I was walking with two canes and the pain was still severe. At that point I decided to try chiropractic care and began seeing Dr. Kimberlain in Louisville in October. During my initial evaluation he confirmed that my spinal stenosis was causing nerve compression and the intense pain running down my legs. I started treatment seeing him several times per week. In the beginning he performed adjustments at each visit, and after a few weeks—once the pain began improving—he added targeted physical therapy exercises for my back and legs. The exercises were simple, clear, and easy to follow. Over time my visits decreased from several times per week, to twice per week, and eventually to once per week as my condition improved. By the end of December my pain was almost completely gone. Today it is 100% gone. I now see Dr. Kimberlain once a month for maintenance adjustments and to make sure I stay on track with the exercises he gave me. The improvement in my quality of life has been incredible. If you are dealing with serious back pain or nerve pain, I highly recommend seeing Dr. Kimberlain. My experience has been life-changing, and I’m extremely grateful for the care and guidance he provided.
Unlike the typical traditional chiropractor, Dr. Kimberlain does not just twist your spine and send you on your way. He develops and executes a comprehensive treatment plan that you can continue on your own to maintain a healthy back. You will be pleased with the results of your visit to Kimberlain Chiropractic.
Dr. Kimberlain highly cares for all of his patients and has great results. You can tell that he wants his patients to make a long lasting recovery with evidence based practices as well as rehab. The staff here are also all very welcoming and friendly. Coming here was a joy, not only for the relief of pain, but for the wonderful people (almost to the point of not wanting to get better). 10/10 would recommend.
