I have been coming for almost 5 yrs, I absolutely love Mrs Rivera, she always gets me back on track. Her team is very caring and gentle.
Is been twenty years ago I visited this office with a great pain and after six visits was without pain until now that arthritis and two other conditions is taking the best out of me! I went today in a great pain and all bent over! After two treatments and adjustment, I came out with no pain and able to walk straight right! Unbelievable Bless hands of Dr Rivera! Praise God for this place and Family!
Started treatment about 3-4 months ago due to back pain from pregnancy. I have never dealt with back pain or would’ve thought I’d see a chiropractor! BUT, Dr. Lloyda has helped me SO much and has helped alleviate a lot of discomfort and pain! The staff here is so caring, empathetic, and kind. I genuinely look forward to my appointments. They’re also very flexible about working with my schedule. Thank you guys for all that you do!
I started my treatment Six weeks ago at this practice as I was referred here through the VA chiropractic referral outsource program. I’m gonna do my best to give the most detailed review that I possibly can because I feel like everyone should know what to expect when they walk into this establishment. I will start with the staff and nurses. They give a warm welcome, and you will be well received from each nurse and their coordinator. They are all pleasant, and informative. This practice tends to have too many patients at each allotted time which causes for delays in receiving treatment, and moving from station to station. Which means that you’ll have some wait time throughout your visit, and there will be times when you feel rushed out. On the first day there were some x-rays taken, and then the results were discussed. As a VA patient, we have x-rays and most likely MRIs taken before outsourcing a chiropractor. I would suggest before your appointment is made having those ready for them to avoid them charging the VA additional for x-rays. It also took them three visits before they received the results of my MRI to the VA, which was totally unnecessary because I had suggested retrieving that information for them to expedite the looking over of those images. But my request was undermined. As a result, I had three visits with them solely going on an x-ray when I had access to a more detailed MRI which they could have reviewed on the first day. If I wouldn’t have brought up the topic they would have never retrieved or looked at the mri, which is why the appointment was made in the first place. As for the treatment, every visit was a repetition of the previous. First you decompress on the machine for 10 mins. Then, when the table opens up, they switch you to another bed where you lay upside down and get a tens unit attached to your back along with a heating pad for 10 more minutes. After sitting up from that, the doctor will come in and ask you how you’re feeling, and regardless of what you answer, you will get the same following treatment. They will lay you on your stomach and use this massage gun on your back for a minute, two minutes at most. Followed by a back/neck adjustment, and then get padded on the back on your way out. If for any reason, you were to ask what you can do to stay proactive in between your visits, the only response you would get is, “we’re giving you the best treatment possible for your condition” and just “use a heating pad.” No stretch exercises, no movement exercises, no posture corrections, just treatment so they can charge. I have been going to Chiropractors a little bit over three years now, and this is the least proactive treatment I have received in all of that time. There is very little compassion from the doctor as they’re in the business of treating and not healing from my experience. Good luck to all and God bless.
I have been a patient of theirs for over a year. The treatments keep me moving and pain free. They helped while I went through a change of insurance without missing a beat, always able to accommodate a quickly changing schedule. In this day and age it is hard to say that you never had a bad thing happen with medical services, however their Deltona office is just amazing. Staff is always happy and helpful. You don't feel like a burden on the phone, or in the office. They just need a bigger parking lot :)
