American Family Spine and Health

I have been a patient of Dr. Will at American Family Spine in Concord for about a year after experiencing significant neck and arm pain. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Will himself. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and truly cares about helping his patients feel better. Thanks to his treatment, I experienced real improvement and was very happy with my results over the past year. His nurse, Monika, has also always been wonderful—kind, helpful, and efficient whenever I’ve called or come into the office. Recently my husband injured his back, and because of the great care I received, I immediately knew we should go see Dr. Will. Monika helped get him scheduled quickly and was very accommodating, which we really appreciated since my husband has a very busy schedule. Unfortunately, our experience with the office manager/secretary, Dea, was extremely disappointing. When I first started treatment, she had me sit in the office work area for nearly an hour to watch a video that, frankly, felt like a complete waste of time. When scheduling my husband’s appointment, I explained that he wouldn’t have time to sit through that video and simply wanted to speak directly with Dr. Will. At our follow-up visit, Dea approached us and insisted that my husband sit and watch the video. My husband was in pain and couldn’t sit comfortably, but she continued to push the issue and was rude and unprofessional during the interaction. She also began speaking as if she were giving medical guidance, which was uncomfortable since she is not a medical professional. It felt inappropriate and unnecessary. Dr. Will and the clinical staff are excellent, and the care provided is truly top-notch. However, interactions with Dea significantly detracted from the experience. If the video is truly necessary, it would make much more sense to simply place it on the website so patients can watch it ahead of time rather than requiring them to sit in the office. (Reading Yelp reviews it is clear she may be the main reason for the office not having all 5 stars) Dr. Will’s practice provides great care, and the medical team is fantastic. That said, the overall patient experience would be much better if Dea did not interact with patients, she is extremely rude and unprofessional and she makes you feel hesitant about going back.

I always look forward to my appointments at American Family Spine and Health. Dr. Will and his staff are always willing to listen and help with your problems. If you are looking for a Chiropractor, I highly recommend this office.

No stranger to chiropractic, I came to American Family Spine after a lapse in care due to Covid, logistics/relocations, etc. I didn't ask around; I did my own research. And it paid off - I made the best choice. Dr. Will and his support staff are a pleasure to work with. I'm a fan of the practice model. They have fine-tuned it in a manner which allows you to be seen, treated, and get back to your day in a reasonable time span. Each visit is meticulously charted with Dr. Will doing his own charting/notations (does not use a scribe). When I saw this, it reaffirmed I'd made the right choice. Getting used to the office flow only takes 1-2 visits. Everyone (Doctor, staff, and patients ! ) work well together. The practice has a good mix of new patients with chronic or emergent needs along with those who opt for a maintenance schedule once an initial complaint is resolved. If you could use some help "mobilizing", this should be your first and best choice.

There is so much I appreciate about this practice! First of all, when I was looking for a chiropractor online, this was one of a very few that actually provided the information on treatment & payment options up front. They have been forthright the whole time & worked things out in my benefit. The entire staff is very kind & friendly, the office is clean & organized, & they have an efficient process for patients to follow at appointments. I love that there is a plan to improve my spine health with tangible checkpoints along the way so that I'm not just treating symptoms blindly. My pain & posture have improved greatly in just a few months!

I started seeing Dr Will after experiencing hip and back pain. I had never been to a chiropractor before so I wasn’t sure what exactly to expect. I had my first appointment was amazed at how thorough it was. I wasn’t just going in and being immediately adjusted without knowing what the underlying problem was. My next visit was another thorough visit with an informational presentation and then going over x rays with Dr Will. I have been going for about 3 months now and have seen a huge improvement in the way I feel. Dr Will was very honest in my care and that things would not improve over night but would be a gradual improvement and he was so right. He isn’t just looking at you as a person on his adjustment table but really cares about your health and getting your body stronger. All the staff at American Family Spine and Health are very knowledgeable about chiropractic care and have been so wonderful. I can’t recommended them enough!
