Cheryl is the best chiropractor I’ve ever been to. I have a lot of back and neck issues and been to a lot of chiropractors and Cheryl is hands down the best. She treats you like family. Fair pricing too. She does have a bit of crazy cat lady vibes and the office is a bit scattered- don’t be turned off by that because she really knows what she’s doing and truly cares for her patients. She goes above and beyond to provide care and relief. I cannot recommend her enough!
`Chirolina was the first place I went to after an MRI showed a bulging disc. I wish I could go back in time and change that decision. Some chiropractors say your symptoms might get worse before they get better... but it's been a year since I saw Dr Cheryl. I never had problems sleeping before I saw her. After the 9th treatment with her in 3 weeks, the next month was hell. The pain at night was so bad I had to get up in the middle of the night and walk around for an hour to bring it back down. I didn't get a full night's rest for a month after that treatment, despite dosing ibuprofen. It was awful. Luckily, it doesn't happen every night now, but her aggressive style of adjustments made my night pain worse than it had ever been. To this day I never know if I'll sleep through the night or wake up at 3am and have to get up (it happened the last 4 nights). I've seen 2 chiropractors and 3 different physical therapists after Dr Cheryl, and they were all much gentler. None of them made my symptoms worse. I'm leaving this review because I wish I could go back in time. Since I can't, I hope this will help someone else avoid what I went through. What could have healed in a few months has now been 16 months and counting. What does that actually mean, besides the sleep issues? I still can't sit or drive for very long at a time without pain, which makes it hard to focus at work or have much of a social life. Also had to slow down graduate school classes so the degree is taking longer. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Like others said, the office is also messy and outdated, the atmosphere is unprofessional (during sessions she often complained about things in her life or in the office itself). And their billing system was a mess. It took them forever to get my visits processed by insurance. I didn't have these issues with the places I went to after.
I had a great experience with Dr Cheryl. Years of experience really shows, very professional and knowledgeable on correcting my stiff back. If you're looking for a good chiropractor, would certainly recommend giving her a visit.
We have known Dr Cheryl for two decades. She is incredibly giving and has helped my family with their back and neck issues. We adore her and definitely recommend her.
I know Dr. Cheryl from working in the Chiropractic field for many years. Recently I started to have an issue with my low back and hip. I tried someone local to me but it just want the adjustment I needed. Years ago Dr. Cheryl helped me avoid carpal tunnel surgery by adjusting my body and extremeness, so before I went to an Ortho physician that for sure would have recommended injections, pain management or surgery. I went to see Dr. Cheryl. It is a 2 hour drive for me to get to her and so worth it, she was able to get movement out of my back that has been needed for months! She is also very knowledgeable about the supporting muscles and was able to tell me exactly what muscles to look for stretches to do at home. She is honestly such a caregiver from animals to people. Her level of care can not be measured!
