This page describes, in plain terms, what information Chirofinder collects and how it's used. It isn't a substitute for legal advice — Timothy, have a lawyer review this before relying on it.
Information we collect
When you use the contact form on a listing, we collect the name, email, phone number (optional), and message you provide, and store a record of the submission along with which practice it was sent to. When you leave a review, we collect your name, star rating, written review, and email if you choose to provide one — the email is used only to help us evaluate the submission and is never shown publicly. When you claim a listing or create an account, we collect your email and the information you provide to verify ownership.
How we use it
Contact form submissions are sent to the practice (if claimed) or to Chirofinder, solely to connect you with that practice. Account information is used to manage your listing and claims. We don't sell personal information to third parties.
Review data
A listing can show reviews from two sources: reviews submitted directly on Chirofinder (checked by an admin before publishing), and ratings/reviews sourced from Google's public Places data, displayed per Google's terms and refreshed periodically. See our review guidelines for more on how each works. Chirofinder doesn't verify that a Chirofinder-review author was a patient, and doesn't control or verify the content of Google-sourced reviews.
